hi, i’m riley!

i am a gay puppy on the internet, welcome to my personal website! i made it with my favorite text editor and my own two paws! i hope you enjoy it! <3

about the site

this website is intended as a place where i can share stuff relevant to my hobbies and interests, and link to other related sites that might be interesting to those finding themselves here. it's crafted with love for the small and real things.

it's my own digital garden in a world wide web! be sure to check out the following directories:

the website is constantly evolving. come back every once in a while to see what's new!

about the webmaster

hiii! i'm riley! i’m a non binary dogboy and also a bisexual mess that lives in the Netherlands. i have a complicated relationship with computers, but overall i enjoy using them. i especially enjoy programming, in Haskell and in Rust.

i love cooking, photography, graphic design and going on cool adventures outside! i am also quite interested in organization science, Magic: the Gathering and trains.

one may refer to me with any pronouns, including they/them and it/its. i also go by ezri and basil.

i’m the type of enby to have a favorite terminal-based text editor (it’s helix, by a long shot).

now

i am currently (updated 2026-06-01) focused on:

  • finding employment as a software developer. but also considering another career entirely.
  • reading! i recently finished Excession by Iain M. Banks, and i decided to take a little break from the Culture books. i am now reading Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson.
  • photography. i've started playing around with an analog camera and it's loads of fun!
  • Magic: the Gathering. specifically, i'm currently building a Satoru, the Infiltrator commander deck based on the interaction between Ghostly Flicker and Archaeomancer.
  • travelling. i will travel to Poland soon and i'm very excited to visit there again.

say hi!

my main social media presence is on the fediverse: @ezri@shitpost.trade. however, i am currently taking a break from that.
